Plugged Into Safety Ep. 21: Avoiding Electrical Contact, Part 1

How Can Workers Avoid Inadvertent Contact with Electricity?

This week, e-Hazard’s podcast hosts Derek Vigstol and Brian McCauley ask that question of e-Hazard electrical safety consultant George Cole

George has a very strong background as an electrician and works for a utility in Arizona. The conversation goes into methods for avoiding inadvertent contact as a protection strategy, as well as what OSHA and NFPA® 70E® say on the subject. Donning PPE, or de-energizing electrical equipment, is not enough to ensure safe working conditions.

Derek and George give some great details regarding additional practices to consider. Join Brian, Derek and George for this discussion!
