Derek Vigstol will be co-presenting with John Kjome at the NFPA Conference on the “Bigger Picture” of electrical safety.
They will examine OSHA standards and NFPA® codes to make the case that employers should take a more wholistic approach to electrical safety. They will base this on findings taken from several electrical safety audits as well as Electrical Safety Program reviews.
Derek and John will also look at the concept of a qualified person, how and why employers choose qualified workers, and talk about what employers sometimes leave out of their risk assessments.
