ASTM has approved a revised standard of ASTM F1930.
The standard, now F1930-15, examines the thermal protection of single layer flame-resistant clothing and clothing ensembles when exposed to a fire simulation (up to 20 seconds long) to predict skin injuries incurred from that exposure. This is the key full scale standard test method in NFPA 2112 for flash fire clothing and ASTM F2733 for flash fire rainwear.
