Safety Fest TN: Providing Free Safety and Health Training to the Public

Safety Fest TN provides a week of free safety and health training annually in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Safety Fest TN aims to make the Oak Ridge and Knoxville, Tennessee area the safest place to work and live in the United States. Businesses, government agencies and non-profits come together to promote safety and health at work, at home and in the community.

At this year’s Safety Fest event, two e-Hazard instructors  will be presenting.

  • Doug Lovette will teach an overview on Lockout/Tagout procedures on two separate occasions. Both of his classes take place on Wednesday, May 1: 8-11 a.m., and 12:30 -3:30 p.m.
  • Ken Sellars will be presenting First Responder Electrical Safety Awareness. One class is available and will take place Monday, April 29, at 10 a.m.

The classes, demonstrations, and sessions are free to all who register.  Seating is limited, and registration is required.

2018 Fatalities Investigated by TOSHA: Tue., Apr. 30, 4:00 – 5:00 pm

The organization also provides free lunch and snacks each day to those who register for classes.
