e-Hazard Wins OH&S New Product Award for 1910.269 Train the Trainer

For the 2nd time in two years, e-Hazard has won a New Product of the Year Award from Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), this time for the 1910.269 Train the Trainer program.

The award, in the category of Best On-Site Training, was presented at the 2015 National Safety Council Congress & Expo in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 1910.269 Train the Trainer (TTT) 12-hour training course is for electric utility workers. Dangers associated with arc flash are highlighted and best practices for electrical safety, in accordance with NESC and OSHA 1910.269 standards, are discussed. Coursework covers arc flash safety for electric utility workers and follows OSHA’s recommended outline for the proper implementation of safety standards.

e-Hazard’s TTT Program is specially designed to prepare qualified trainers to deliver instruction to others based on safety requirements from NFPA 70E, OSHA, and/or NESC. Our TTT format and all teaching materials are based on best practices from a professional adult education specialist. Through group discussion, demonstration of teaching techniques, and hands-on application, attendees receive a comprehensive understanding of the materials and extensive teacher and peer evaluations of each attendee’s instruction.

e-Hazard was one among several other companies who won awards in twenty-two categories. This year’s contest was OH&S’s 7th, with each year’s number of applicants increasing. Last year, e-Hazard also won a New Product of the Year award, for the TTT program for our Low Voltage and High Voltage courses.
