Scott Young

R. Scott Young is a Florida-based e-Hazard trainer with expertise in high-voltage substations and OSHA compliance training. His consulting company, Industrial Safety Institute, has specialized in electrical technical training for high-voltage substations, training program evaluations, and audit and inspection services since 2005. He was with Tampa Electric Company for more than 25 years in substation electrician positions, and was supervisor of the Skills Training Center during his last six years at TECO.

Scott has published articles on substation safety and holds certifications including CUSP, PCC, PCG, PCM and numerous OSHA training certifications. He is a member of ASSE, NFPA and IEEE.
