OH&S New Product of the Year Award Winner
e-Hazard is excited to share the news! Our Hands-on Skills Assessment training has won in the category of On-site Training. e-Hazard is one of twenty-six winners who were featured on the OH&S website.
This particular e-Hazard hands-on assessment, offered in conjunction with our on-site electrical safety training programs, has become popular in recent months. It provides companies the opportunity to train employees on how to mitigate electrical hazards and meets the training requirement for “demonstration of skills.”
An e-Hazard safety consultant will conduct the assessment on site. Your company can either provide the equipment necessary to complete the training or choose one of e-Hazard’s mobile hands-on packages. (See our website for details.)
The Low Voltage hands-on assessment covers proper job set-up, including boundaries; lockout/tagout and verification; and proper use of insulated tools and PPE. (This is by no means a comprehensive list.)
The High Voltage hands-on assessment covers, to mention just a few, verification of lack of nominal voltage and grounding techniques, and the setting up of an EPZ (equipotential work zone).
