Electrical Compliance Inspection
Based on the NFPA 70E Standard
Service Overview
Ideal for small companies and facilities, the e-Hazard Inspection begins with an advance look at documents related to electrical safety, such as a Written Electrical Safety Program and key forms and procedures. This is followed by a facility walk-through by one of our subject matter experts (SME) and a review of PPE in use, workplace practices and equipment conditions. Our inspection helps companies determine the level to which they are following safe electrical workplace practices and identify where additional training may be needed.
This inspection is brief, but can make a significant impact on improving compliance to OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements. Our inspection includes an advance summary review of the facility’s Electrical Safety Program. In the facility walk-through, our expert will assess labeling, electrical equipment condition, PPE and applicability of additional electrical safety equipment. Our subject matter expert will observe workplace practice to determine if it is in compliance with NFPA 70E, and conduct brief interviews with key personnel. The client will receive a brief written summary identifying areas addressed in training and any additional opportunities to increase electrical safety compliance.
Note: The Electrical Compliance Inspection will be done in conjunction with a training course and prior to receiving training.
