Nehad El-Sherif

With over 25 years in the field, Nehad brings extensive expertise in electrical engineering, as an electrical engineer, consultant, and educator who excels at making engineering both practical, safe, and effective. With experience in electrical safety, R&D, teaching/mentorship, and standards development, he has worked on safety consulting, product innovation, and in various IEEE leadership roles.

He is also active in professional communities, serving in leadership roles within IEEE and other organizations. Additionally, he has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and industry publications as well as conference presentations. His numerous awards includes the 2024 Excellence in Prevention Through Design from the IEEE IAS ESafeC Committee.
