Candace Huckabee

Candace has worked in the electrical industry for 30 years, primarily in construction and the oil industry.  Her expertise includes electrical installation, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to complete construction projects, as well as the maintenance and repair (and creation, if necessary) of electrical equipment. As a safety manager, she developed a MSHA-compliant safety program for a surface mining operation, trains on all aspects of electrical safety and monitors company compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and NFPA standards.

For the past seven years, Candace has taught safety courses for Cache Valley Electric, including NFPA 70e, MEWP Operator Safety, and Rough Terrain Telehandler Operator Training. She also teaches OSHA 10 for Women in the Trades and is a recognized leader at Women in Construction 2025.
