Electrical Safety Training for Low Voltage Personnel

Low Voltage Qualified is a one-day (8-hour) NFPA 70E based course presenting a wide range of safe workplace practices for people working in an electrical environment. With an emphasis on OSHA and NFPA 70E regulations and guidelines, this course provides attendees a thorough knowledge of the dangers and recommendations for working near electrical safety hazards.

This refresher course keeps attendees current on the information gained in the Low Voltage Qualified 8-hour class. In addition to a review of standard electrical safety principles, attendees are briefed on the updates in the NFPA 70E 2018 guidelines. The class also includes a refresher of OSHA principles including the 1910.300 series.

 

This 4-hour electrical measurement safety program is based on the Fluke multimeter training courses. Students work together to establish an electrically safe work condition on actual de-energized equipment under the observation of a qualified instructor.

e-Hazard offers this course for maintenance technicians based on NFPA 70E and OSHA guidelines to address electrical safety and issues specific to this task. As each environment is different, e-Hazard can modify the curriculum to address the electrical safety training needs of particular employees as identified by management and engineering and safety departments.

Our supervisor training class provides electrical safety training for those working on or around electrical equipment in a supervisory role. The class emphasizes low voltage electrical safety principles, the hazards of working in an electrical environment and associated safe work practices.

This course will address the requirements and regulations surrounding task qualified switch operation. Attendees will learn practical application from expert instructors with real-world experience in the area of switch operation.

This one-day course provides a thorough knowledge of the recommended safe behaviors for working around electrical hazards, in accordance with CSA Z462 regulations and OHSA. Electrical workers and safety professionals learn best work practices in electrical safety and how to apply them in real-world situations.
