John Kjome

John has over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry, particularly in electrical safety education and training.  This includes training for IBEW Local 292 and the NFPA, where he consults on training resources and the 70e Handbook. John has completed the four-year National Training Institute’s Master Teacher in Technical Education program.

Aside from training, John designed and led construction of both the Building Automation Lab and Test Instruments Lab at Minneapolis’ JATC.  He volunteers technical support and judging services for Skills USA State of Minnesota, an organization that showcases the skills and knowledge of electrical apprentices.
