Rick Simpson is a Master Electrician with over 30 years’ experience as an electrician, electrical
superintendent, electrical estimator and electrical safety instructor. He worked for several electrical
contractors in the Bloomington, Indiana area, with projects including a General Electric Refrigerator
plant and Indiana University buildings, new construction and building renovations. Since 2006 he has
taught electrical safety (NFPA 70E), NEC, OSHA 1910.269 Industrial High Voltage, Grounding & Bonding,
and other courses for NTT Training. He was certified by the e-Hazard Train the Trainer program in May,
2020 as a low and high voltage instructor.
