Train the Trainer

Our Train the Trainer Program is available to companies with multiple shift and/or multiple personnel requirements. The e-Hazard TTT format and all teaching materials have been designed based on best practices by a professional adult education specialist. Attendees receive a comprehensive understanding of the materials, a thorough discussion of teaching techniques, videotaping of teaching and delivery style, and extensive teacher and peer evaluations of each attendee's instruction.

Train the Trainer Agenda

Day 1 & /or 2: Training is conducted by an e-Hazard professional trainer to demonstrate best practices. LV & HV can be taught first two days or LV & Operators. (NESC is 2 day total)

Day 3 & 4: Student-taught sessions are videotaped and critiqued by the e-Hazard training team consisting of a professional education specialist and an experienced electrical safety instructor as well as receiving input from fellow attendees. This gives the trainee indepth critique and knowledge of the standards as we challenge each other.

Low Voltage Qualified - NFPA 70E – 8 Hours (TTT 24 hours)

This practical one-day course provides a comprehensive understanding of safe electrical workplace practices in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70E 2009 standard.

High Voltage Qualified – 8 Hour Class (TTT 32 hours with LV)

Designed for persons who work, or manage persons who work around high voltage equipment(above 600V). This course includes a hands-on practicum using HV tools, voltage detectors, grounds and PPE. This course presents safe electrical working practices in accordance with OSHA 1910.269, NESC 2007 and the NFPA 70E 2009 standards.

Operators Training – 1.5 Hour Class (TTT 8 hours standalone)

Basic NFPA 70E safety training for operators and other non-electricians involved in limited electrical tasks such as switching and operation of disconnects.

CSA Z462 – Low Voltage Qualified (Canada) – 8 Hour Class (TTT 24 hours)

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of electrical workplace practices in accordance with Canada's CSA Z462 standard.

NESC – National Electrical Safety Code Chapter 4 Qualified (LV & HV) – 4 Hour Class (TTT 16 hours)

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of electrical workplace safety practices in accordance with the NESC and OSHA 1910.269. Ideal for electric utility workers.
